RECO Lift Solution provides emergency power supply for apartment building in Veenendaal

An owners' association in Veenendaal approached RECO Lift Solutions to come up with a suitable lift solution, as network operator Stedin was about to start work on the electricity in a large apartment building. The work would result in a temporary loss of power, which would put the fixed lift installation out of action for three days. RECO Lift Solutions is happy to think along with the client.

Because it would be easier and cheaper for the client to continue using the permanent lift installation, we offered to install a generator so that the lift could still have power. As a result, the request to supply a generator came directly to RECO.

RECO employees immediately picked up on the request, so within 24 hours, a RECO executive was on site to discuss everything with a representative of the owners' association and Skylift, the lift company. In the end, we offered to install a generator for a week, so that a generator would also be available if the work Stedin was going to carry out was delayed. RECO supplied a 100 kVA generator and a 2,000 litre fuel tank so there was sufficient power available. The generator was used continuously, providing power to the two lifts in the building and an external lift for the painter.
